This week, we speak with Dacher Keltner, a professor of psychology at UC Berkeley, about his study explaining why the wealthy are more likely to favor harsh, punitive justice.
Then we're joined by Jeff Bryant, the executive director of the Education Opportunity Network, to discuss the lobbying and PR behemoth supporting the charter school movement. Jeff wrote a terrific piece on the topic for Salon this week.
And after we get the big picture, we talk to Darcy Bedortha, a high school English teacher who wrote a piece last week titled, "15 Months in Virtual Charter Hell: A Teacher's Tale."
