This week, Liz Preza and Joshua Holland talk about whiny billionaires, a bit of light fraud Trump is pulling on his most loyal supporters and how his wacky obsession with buying Greenland sidelined the Ukraine scandal that could bring down his presidency.
Then we're joined by Thomas Pepinsky, a professor of government at Cornell University, to talk about "regime cleavage"--when democratic polities fight over the legitimacy of government itself. Pepinsky says that while other social divides are manageable, this one can lead to a fundamental breakdown in even a mature democracy.
